Bio
Curtis Moore has grown up with dogs. A son of an Air Force Colonel, he lived in several places but calls Boulder Colorado his hometown.
A graduate of The Colorado College in Colorado Springs with a degree in Economics, I started my career as a Financial Accountant for a large bank holding company. I then went into sales working for Xerox Corporation, Oce, HP Konika Minolta and Canon USA.
11 years ago, I started helping people train dogs. My first client asked who my trainer was for my dog who was off leash on a stay at a neighborhood Starbucks. Susan, was impressed how the dog could hold a stay off leash with all the dogs, birds, and people surrounding him. She wanted a dog just like Coltrane. She was thrilled with the result. I left the Corporate world two years in 2020 and now work full time as The Puppy Coach.
Several of my clients have commented after our first meeting how they have noticed a difference in their dog. Over 90% of my clients renew for another package from The Puppy Coach as they begin to realize the higher trajectory of their dogs in their lives.
What my clients say I do well is helping them teach their dogs Socialization, Setting Boundaries, Communication, and On and Off leash excellence. I effectively convey ways to reach their dogs and help them raise the ceilings of their lives. I believe that the ceiling of a dog is determined by their owner. Thus, I focus on training the owner, and in turn help them train their dogs.
I lead an active lifestyle. I love to ski, fly fish, back pack and camp. In the Winter, I am a volunteer ski patroller at Winter Park Co. My dogs fit into my life, not the other way around. I believe I can help deliver you a service level dog capable of giving you years of happiness, love, and service.
